13-31 Eveleigh St

The crown of Eveleigh Street Precinct’s latest mixed-use offering, this rooftop terrace treats the building’s residential tenants to more than just a spectacular view! Sinuous masonry planters, abundant with edibles and aromatics form the spine to the space and cleverly divide the outdoor room into a series of spaces. In doing so, the terrace invites multiple groups to use it simultaneously. Trees housed in circular planters provide anchors and much needed shade at each end of the terrace. Combined, said elements frame the district views and create shelter for the covered outdoor kitchen & dining that hugs the southern edge of the space. Materials speak to both the building’s heritage and its optimistic, yet paired back contemporary alterations and additions.
