Cronulla Pines

Pathways Property Group provide a boutique approach to Seniors’ Living; catering for people who are no longer able to live independently and, in the case of this development, offer especially considered environments for residents with dementia.

Architecture, interiors and landscape combine to create the sense of a development set in the landscape.

To respect the scale of the surrounding houses,
the multi-level building is set down into the landscape.
In doing so, rooms affording this orientation
look out upon a terraced garden dripping with a textural carpet of native and locally adapted species.

Planting palettes respond to the various microclimates created by the buildings. Layered plantings provide a means of visually filtering public from private.

Courtyard spaces designated for patients with dementia are designed with extraordinary consideration.
Landscape elements combine to create a sense of the familiar; a place to stroll, a park bench to perch, a flower that may spark a delicious memory.
Colour brings joy whilst contrasting materials support legibility and safety.

Landscape courtyards envelop & soften, providing delightful outlooks & places of respite.
